General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last update: September 23, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, hereinafter the "T&Cs", govern sales made on the auriapets.fr website between AURIA PETS and any consumer making a purchase on the Site.

1. Identity of the seller

The Site is operated by:

Pauline PARDO – Sole Proprietorship (EI)
Trade name: AURIA PETS
SIREN: 933 634 230
Address: 69 rue de la Libération, 69780 Mions, France
E-mail: contact@auriapets.fr
Phone: +33 6 19 16 50 41

VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the General Tax Code.

Hereinafter referred to as "AURIA PETS" or "the Seller".

2. Purpose and scope

The purpose of these T&Cs is to define the conditions under which AURIA PETS markets its products to consumers through the Site.

They apply to any order placed on the Site.

The Customer acknowledges having read these T&Cs before validating their order and accepts them without reservation.

3. Products

AURIA PETS markets, in particular, connected pet tags and connected keychains based on technologies such as QR Code and NFC, as well as associated digital services.

The essential characteristics of each product are presented on its product page before purchase.

Photographs and representations of products are provided for illustrative purposes. Slight differences in color, finish, or rendering may appear depending on screens or production batches, without altering the essential characteristics of the product.

4. How connected products work

AURIA PETS tags and keychains allow, depending on the product and available features, in particular:

  • access to an online profile from a QR Code or NFC technology;
  • display of information provided by the user;
  • sending of notifications during certain scans;
  • transmission of information related to the location of the scan when this feature is available and authorized;
  • modification of certain information from the user space.

AURIA PETS products do not constitute real-time GPS tracking devices.

The location potentially transmitted corresponds to the location associated with the scan and depends in particular on the authorizations given on the device used, the network, and technical constraints.

5. Associated digital services

AURIA PETS products provide access to associated digital features, the characteristics of which are presented on the Site and on the product pages.

At the date of these T&Cs, the features offered with AURIA PETS products, in particular SMS notifications available as part of the service, are accessible at no extra cost.

The features of the service may evolve to improve their operation, security, or user experience. Any evolution concerning the services associated with a product already purchased occurs in compliance with consumer rights and applicable regulations.

New features or additional options may be offered later, free of charge or for a one-time payment. The essential features will remain free. No subscription will be offered.

6. Price

The applicable prices are those displayed on the Site at the time of the order.

They are expressed in euros.

As AURIA PETS benefits from the VAT base franchise, VAT is not applicable in accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code.

The total price and any delivery costs are indicated to the Customer before the final validation of the order. Information on the price must be communicated before the conclusion of the sale.

AURIA PETS reserves the right to modify its prices for future orders. A price change does not apply retroactively to orders already validated.

7. Order

The Customer selects the products they wish to order and provides the information necessary for delivery and payment.

Before definitively validating their order, it is their responsibility to check:

  • the selected products;
  • the quantities;
  • any variants;
  • their contact details;
  • the delivery address;
  • and the total amount of the order.

Validation of the order implies acceptance of these T&Cs.

An order confirmation is sent to the Customer electronically.

AURIA PETS reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order, particularly in the event of suspected fraud, payment incident, obvious error, or an order that appears abnormal.

8. Payment methods

Payment is made at the time of the order.

The payment methods that may be offered include in particular:

  • Bank card, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express;
  • PayPal;
  • as well as any other payment method offered to the Customer on the Site at the time of their order.

The payment methods actually available are those displayed during checkout.

AURIA PETS does not have access to the full bank details of the Customer when these are processed directly by payment service providers.

9. Availability of products and pre-orders

Products are offered within the limits of available stocks.

Some products may be offered for pre-order.

In this case, the estimated shipment date or period is indicated on the product page or at the time of the order.

This estimate may change, particularly in the event of production, supply, or transport delays.

In the event of a significant change to the announced deadline, AURIA PETS will inform the Customer.

Regulations require the professional to indicate before the order the date or deadline by which they commit to delivering the product.

10. Delivery

Detailed delivery conditions are also available on the Delivery & returns page of the Site.

France

Orders are shipped with tracking, including via La Poste tracked letter.

Delivery is free in France, unless otherwise specified before the order.

Abroad

AURIA PETS can also offer delivery abroad.

A contribution to delivery costs may be charged depending on the destination. Its amount is indicated to the Customer before payment.

For certain destinations, particularly outside the European Union, taxes, customs duties, or import fees may be applied by the authorities of the destination country.

11. Transfer of risk

AURIA PETS remains responsible for the proper execution of the delivery until physical handover of the product to the Customer or to the third party designated by them, under the conditions provided by regulations.

The fact that shipment is entrusted to La Poste or another carrier does not allow the Seller to waive its obligations towards the consumer.

12. Receipt of the order

Upon receipt, the Customer is invited to quickly check the condition of their package as well as that of the products.

In the event of a product that is visibly:

  • damaged;
  • broken;
  • incomplete;
  • different from the one ordered;
  • or showing an anomaly upon receipt,

the Customer is invited to contact AURIA PETS within 3 days of receipt, preferably as soon as the problem is noticed, by indicating their order number and providing photographs if possible.

The purpose of this reporting period is to facilitate the processing of the request and any procedures with the carrier. It does not cancel or limit the legal guarantees enjoyed by the consumer.

13. Cancellation before shipment

When it is still available for the order in question, a cancellation request can be made from the customer area.

If the order has not yet been processed, AURIA PETS will do its best to take its cancellation into account.

Once the order has been processed and shipped, its cancellation is no longer physically possible. The Customer retains, however, their legal right of withdrawal when applicable.

14. Right of withdrawal

For distance sales, the consumer Customer generally has a period of 14 days from receipt of the item to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify their decision. For an order consisting of several goods delivered separately, the period runs from the receipt of the last good.

The Customer may exercise their right of withdrawal by using the functionality provided on the Site:

Request a return or exercise my right of withdrawal

They may also use the standard withdrawal form appearing at the end of these T&Cs or any unambiguous statement expressing their wish to withdraw.

Since June 19, 2026, contracts concluded at a distance via an online interface must allow the consumer to exercise their withdrawal via a free, easily accessible functionality accompanied by an acknowledgment of receipt.

15. Return of products

After communicating their decision to withdraw, the Customer has 14 days to return the product(s) concerned.

Products must be returned complete and must not have been subjected to handling beyond what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.

The direct costs of return related to the exercise of the right of withdrawal are borne by the Customer.

The address and practical return procedures are communicated when the request is processed.

16. Refund

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, AURIA PETS refunds the sums due in accordance with legal provisions.

The refund occurs at the latest within 14 days from the date on which AURIA PETS is informed of the decision to withdraw.

For a sale of goods, AURIA PETS may defer the refund until recovery of the products or until receipt of proof of their shipment, whichever event occurs first.

The refund is made using the same payment method as the one used during the order, unless expressly agreed by the Customer for another method that does not incur additional costs.

17. Legal guarantees

AURIA PETS is bound by the legal guarantees applicable to the products sold.

The consumer benefits in particular from the legal guarantee of conformity as well as the guarantee against hidden defects.

For new goods, the legal guarantee of conformity can be implemented for two years from the delivery of the good. Specific rules apply to goods containing digital elements.

Professional responsible for guarantees:

Pauline PARDO – Sole Proprietorship (EI)
AURIA PETS
69 rue de la Libération
69780 Mions – France
contact@auriapets.fr

The consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the good to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of the appearance of a lack of conformity. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date of its appearance.

When the contract for the sale of the good provides for the supply of digital content or a digital service continuously for a period exceeding two years, the legal guarantee is applicable to this digital content or digital service throughout the entire period of supply provided. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or the digital service and not the date of its appearance.

The legal guarantee of conformity carries the obligation for the professional, if necessary, to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the good.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the good within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.

If the good is repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.

If the consumer requests the repair of the good, but the seller imposes the replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date of replacement of the good.

The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price by keeping the good or terminate the contract by obtaining a full refund in exchange for the return of the good, if:

1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the good;

2° The repair or replacement of the good takes place after a period of thirty days;

3° The repair or replacement of the good causes major inconvenience to the consumer, particularly when the consumer finally bears the costs of taking back or collecting the non-conforming good, or if they bear the costs of installing the repaired good or the replacement;

4° The lack of conformity of the good persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the good or to the cancellation of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies that the price reduction or the cancellation of the contract be immediate. The consumer is then not required to request the repair or replacement of the good beforehand.

The consumer is not entitled to the cancellation of the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period of immobilization of the good for its repair or replacement suspends the guarantee that remained to run until the delivery of the repaired good.

The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the Consumer Code.

The seller who acts in bad faith to hinder the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity incurs a civil fine of a maximum amount of 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of the average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects in application of articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the holder to a price reduction if the good is kept or to a full refund in exchange for the return of the good.

18. Improper use of products

AURIA PETS cannot be held liable for any malfunction or damage resulting in particular from:

  • use that does not conform to the intended purpose of the product;
  • intentional damage;
  • modification of the QR Code, the NFC chip, or the carrier;
  • exposure or treatment clearly incompatible with the product's characteristics;
  • or the entry of incorrect information by the user.

This clause does not limit applicable statutory warranties.

19. Information provided by the user

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy and updating of the information they provide in their AURIA PETS profile.

AURIA PETS cannot guarantee that a person who has found an animal or object will scan the product, authorize the sharing of their location, or make contact with the owner.

AURIA PETS products constitute an additional means of identification and connection.

For animals, they do not replace regulatory identification devices when they are mandatory.

20. Personal data

Personal data collected in the context of orders and the use of AURIA PETS services are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Site.

21. Intellectual property

The AURIA PETS brand, graphic elements, texts, photographs, logos, interfaces, and content of the Site are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited, subject to exceptions provided for by law.

Detailed conditions of use for the digital service will also be specified in the General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTCU).

22. Customer service

For any questions concerning an order, a product, a return, or the AURIA PETS service, the Customer can contact:

contact@auriapets.fr

or use the Contact page of the Site.

23. Consumer mediation

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact AURIA PETS beforehand to seek an amicable solution.

If the dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may use the consumer mediator to which AURIA PETS belongs free of charge.

Address: [TO BE COMPLETED]
Website: [TO BE COMPLETED]

24. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These T&Cs are subject to French law, without depriving the consumer residing in another State of the mandatory protection provisions they benefit from under the applicable regulations.

In case of difficulty, the parties are invited to seek an amicable solution first.

Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts in accordance with the applicable rules.

25. Modification of the T&Cs

AURIA PETS may modify these T&Cs for future orders, in particular to take into account the development of its services, its activity, or regulations.

The T&Cs applicable to an order are those accepted by the Customer at the time it is placed.
